Pre Teens (9 – 13 years old)
Our Pre-Teens program is crafted to help students develop advanced motor skills, social abilities, focus, and confidence in a supportive and engaging environment. Tailored for children aged 9 to 13, this program combines karate technique refinement with essential life skills, empowering students to grow both as martial artists and as individuals. Here, students enhance their understanding of teamwork, build greater social awareness, and develop confidence that supports their progress both in the dojo and in daily life.
In the Pre-Teens program, students take their karate skills to the next level, working on more advanced techniques with an emphasis on self-defence and physical fitness. Each class challenges them to push their physical limits, while activities centred around goal-setting and teamwork teach resilience and adaptability. Through this balanced approach, students not only advance in their karate journey but also learn the discipline and persistence needed to achieve their long-term goal of earning a black belt.
Key Program Benefits:
Commitment to Progress
This program requires students to attend two sessions per week, providing the consistency needed to reinforce skills, deepen their understanding of karate, and enjoy the benefits of regular practice. By making a commitment to their training, students not only see their abilities grow but also develop the discipline needed to achieve their long-term goal of a black belt.
Trial and Class Placement
Each new student begins with a personalised free trial session, where instructors assess their current skill level and determine the best class placement for their age and abilities. This personalised approach ensures that each student receives the support they need to succeed.
The Pre-Teens program goes beyond physical training, encouraging students to build resilience, self-awareness, and a sense of community. It's more than just a karate class - it's a foundation for personal growth, helping students prepare for both the challenges of the dojo and the wider world.
